Michael spent more than 25 years inside the Department of Defense building the financial infrastructure that complex organizations depend on from Special Operations finance at 10th Special Forces Group and the 75th Ranger Regiment, to resource management across NORAD/USNORTHCOM and USEUCOM, to Director of Financial Operations at the United States Air Force Academy's $85M Division I athletics program. Across that career, he managed budgets exceeding $250M, led financial operations spanning 51 countries and territories, and developed a track record of building durable systems in high-accountability environments.

Throughout his career, one pattern repeated: the organizations that thrive are the ones whose leaders insist on financial clarity, strategic honesty, and disciplined execution long before they are forced to.

Today he serves as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the U.S. Center for SafeSport, a congressionally mandated national nonprofit working to safeguard Olympic and amateur athletes, and leads Forge41 Advisory as a parallel practice for organizations that need that same level of financial leadership without a full-time hire.

Forge41 was built to take that same rigor to organizations that can't afford to learn the hard way.

He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and a BBA in Corporate Finance, is a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), and a DoD Financial Management Certified Program Level III. He is also a John Maxwell-certified coach, speaker, and mentor.
